    Out of stock

PRE-ORDER About Winery Domaine Coche-Dury, based in Meursault, Burgundy, is one of the most revered producers of white Burgundy. The estate was founded in the 1920s by Léon Coche, who purchased vineyard plots and initially sold grapes to négociants while bottling a small amount himself. In 1964, his son Georges Coche took over his share of the vineyards, expanding holdings and strengthening the domaine. Georges’s son Jean-François Coche assumed control in 1973, and with his wife (whose surname, Dury, was added to the domaine’s name), he transformed Coche-Dury into a cult estate. Known for meticulous vineyard work, low yields, and precise winemaking, Jean-François elevated the domaine’s reputation to global acclaim, especially for its Chardonnay from Meursault, Corton-Charlemagne, and other Côte de Beaune sites. In 1999, the domaine suffered a notable setback when a helicopter crash damaged part of its Corton-Charlemagne vines, but it continued to thrive. Today, Jean-François’s son Raphaël Coche has joined the estate, ensuring continuity of its legendary style and status as one of Burgundy’s most sought-after producers.

PRE-ORDER Winemaker Notes The 2018 Domaine Marquis d’Angerville Volnay 1er Cru "Les Caillerets" is an elegant, "fine-boned" wine that exemplifies the harmonious combination of power and finesse typical of this premier vineyard. According to producer tasting notes from Domaine Marquis d'Angerville, the stony soils of the parcel impart a distinct minerality that blends beautifully with a "markedly ripe" bouquet of cassis, plum liqueur, morello cherry, and peonies. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied and deeply concentrated, featuring powdery tannins, a hint of exotic tea, and a refined, mineral-driven finish.  About Winery Domaine Marquis d’Angerville, located in Volnay, Burgundy, is a historic estate with origins dating back to 1537, renowned for pioneering estate-bottled wines in the 1920s. Out of stock

PRE-ORDER Winemaker Notes The 2014 Domaine Marquis d’Angerville Volnay 1er Cru (a blend of the Mitans and Pitures parcels) is an elegant and classically structured expression that winemaker Guillaume d'Angerville describes as "seductive and approachable" despite the challenging hail-impacted yields of the vintage. The wine features a beautiful, deep nose with high-toned aromas of red cherries, raspberries, and peonies, underscored by a "chocolate ripeness" and subtle mineral depth. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and "mouth-watering," offering a supple, giving texture with fine tannins that lack any harsh grain. While it initially presented a touch of creamy oak and a tightly wound finish of redcurrant and cranberry fruit, its biodynamic viticulture ensures a persistent, floral-inflected finish with a notably architectural structure About Winery Domaine Marquis d’Angerville, located in Volnay, Burgundy, is a historic estate with origins dating back to 1537, renowned for pioneering estate-bottled wines in the 1920s. PRE-ORDER Winemaker Notes The 2018 Domaine Marquis d’Angerville Pommard 1er Cru "Combes Dessus" is a full, firm, and generous wine that exemplifies the "Volnaysian" elegance of the estate despite its Pommard origins. According to winemaker Guillaume d’Angerville, the wine reflects a transition in style since its conversion to biodynamics, yielding a classic Pommard character with a more refined edge. On the nose, it offers a pretty and expressive bouquet of raspberries, poached plum, and raw cocoa, accented by delicate notes of orange rind, flowers, and whiffs of earthy underbrush. The palate is medium to full-bodied and "super-saturated," featuring a supple, round texture and a generous core of dark fruit and minerals that are framed by powdery, slightly rustic tannins.  About Winery Domaine Marquis d’Angerville, located in Volnay, Burgundy, is a historic estate with origins dating back to 1537, renowned for pioneering estate-bottled wines in the 1920s. PRE-ORDER Winemaker Notes The 2018 Domaine Coquard Loison-Fleurot Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru is a dense, opulent expression crafted from 70-year-old vines that took the longest of the domaine’s cuvées to complete its alcoholic fermentation.
