Ferret, J.A. 2022 Ferret Pouilly Fuisse Hors de Classe Tournant de Pouilly Cuvee Hors Classe
PRE-ORDER About Winery Domaine J.A. Ferret was established in 1840 in Fuissé by Jean-Alfred Ferret and his son Antoine, though the family had been making wine locally since the 1760s. The estate became especially influential under Jeanne Ferret, who in the 1930s–1990s introduced estate bottling (from 1942) and created her own classification of parcels, including Tête de Cru and Hors Classe, which remain benchmarks today. After Jeanne’s passing in 1993, her daughter Colette continued the legacy until 2006. In 2008, Maison Louis Jadot acquired the domaine, ensuring continuity while appointing winemaker Audrey Braccini to carry forward its tradition of parcel-by-parcel vinification. Today, Domaine Ferret cultivates 18 hectares entirely within Pouilly-Fuissé, producing wines that are considered among the finest expressions of southern Burgundy Chardonnay, celebrated for their longevity and terroir-driven precision.

About Winery Sourced from select hillside estates, the Cabernet Sauvignon wines of BOND vividly demonstrate the range of Napa Valley's finest terroirs. From the more than eighty vineyards we have worked with over the past quarter century, we have slowly and vigilantly selected five sites. Chateau d'Issan 2020 Chateau d'Issan Blason
PRE-ORDER Winemaker Notes Deep ruby red with its subtle aromas and moreish fruit, the 2020 vintage is a fine expression of the quintessential Margaux terroir. Precision combines with elegance to reveal an explosion of flavour. Its harmonious and delicate tannins envelop the palate, then give way to a long, hedonistic finish. About Winery Château d’Issan is in the heart of the Margaux appellation, a truly privileged location, which explains the outstanding quality of its wines. The mild weather, regulated by being close to the sea and the Gironde Estuary, provides ideal conditions for vine growth. The vines at Château d’Issan benefit from close, on-going care designed to produce perfectly ripe grapes. Everything is organized so that each individual plot can be tended independently in order to get the very best out of its fruit. Château d’Issan is a Third Growth of the 1855 Imperial Classification. The wine is made from the old vines in the Château d’Issan enclosure in the middle of the Margaux appellation. The soil here is mainly made up of surface gravel on top of a clay subsoil, which contributes to optimal ripeness and freshness in our two grape varieties, Cabernet Sauvignon 65% and Merlot 35%. Château d’Issan expresses the exquisite bouquet so characteristic of Margaux, and stands out with its suppleness, subtlety, elegance and long keeping potential that come from its unique terroir.

Hundred Acre Hundred Acre Deep Time
2014 | WA 98 Medium to deep garnet in color, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Ark Vineyard Deep Time rolls languorously out of the glass with subtle, slowly emerging scents of redcurrant jelly, wild blueberries, mulberries and cassis plus faint wafts of forest floor, oolong tea, potpourri, menthol and Indian spices. The full-bodied palate is firm, taut and solidly structured with ripe, grainy tannins, revealing loads of very tightly wound layers with coaxing, finishing very long and purely fruited. 2018 | WA 98 The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Deep Time is a selection of barrels from all three single vineyards, held back for extended maturation. This year, the wine aged in wood for 48 months. Marked by typical cigar box aromas, it also delivers plenty of cherries, vanilla and a hint of cassis. It's full-bodied, rich and undeniably woody, yet still retains ample freshness and length. It reminds me a bit of some Riojas, for its wood presence and elegance, but with more power and fruit weight, like some of Chris RIngland's long-aged releases of Barossa Shiraz. Idiosyncratic but delicious, it's another top-class effort from proprietor Jayson Woodbridge. About Winery Hundred Acre is not simply a winery—it is a legend carved into Napa’s hillsides. Founded by Jayson Woodbridge in 2000, its philosophy is one of uncompromising precision: fruit chosen berry by berry, wines born in underground caves called The Ring, and bottles crowned with a 24-carat gold ring as a symbol of perfection. From Morgan’s Way to Ark and Few and Far Between, each vineyard is treated as sacred ground, yielding Cabernets that have earned more than seventy-eight perfect scores. Inspired by the whimsical Hundred Acre Wood yet executed with obsessive craftsmanship, the estate has become a beacon of rarity and myth, where every release is both a treasure and a testament to the pursuit of the extraordinary.
