A beautifully pale pink, which is pleasing to the eye and draws one in. Fresh red berry fruit characteristics with floral notes. Ripe and fleshy feel on the palate. Great concentration. Smooth and round finish.

Château d’Esclans, a magical property, is situated in the heart of Provence, northeast of St. Tropez overlooking La Vallée d’Esclans (the Esclans Valley) with the Mediterranean coast in the faint distance. The vision of Sacha Lichine (Founder) with his acquisition of the Château in 2006 was to create the greatest rosés in the world igniting the “Rosé Renaissance”.
Patrick Léon (Founding Winemaker) became an essential part of the project bringing his many years of international winemaking experience to Château d’Esclans. 2018 | JS 97This is one of the best SLVs I have tasted with total balance and structure that highlights what was possible in 2018. It’s full-bodied, yet tight and poised, with layer upon layer of fine tannins that give depth and beauty to this young red. Blackcurrant, blueberry and floral flavors. Tight at the end. Needs until 2025 to really show what it has.

From a site planted in 1970 at the famous estate, this wine has beautiful perfume on the nose, and a supple yet firm structure. Dusty plum, dried herb and clove spice are interwoven between tangy cassis and notes of crushed rock. Enjoy best from 2029–2039

The 2019 Résonance Découverte Vineyard Chardonnay from Oregon’s Dundee Hills is a refined and expressive wine that highlights the elegance of Willamette Valley terroir. Aromatically, it offers notes of Meyer lemon, apricot, peach, struck flint, and subtle spice, with hints of cardamom and pie crust adding complexity. On the palate, it is dry and medium-bodied with vibrant acidity, delivering flavors of stone fruit, lemon curd, and a touch of saline minerality. Aged in French oak, it shows excellent balance and length, with a graceful, layered finish that suggests strong aging potential. Critics and enthusiasts alike praise its harmony of fruit and savory elements, making it a standout Oregon Chardonnay vintage.
About Winery
Résonance Winery was founded in 2013 when Maison Louis Jadot, the historic Burgundy producer, made its first venture outside of France. The project began when Jacques Lardière, Jadot’s legendary winemaker for 42 years, and Thibault Gagey, son of Jadot’s president Pierre-Henry Gagey, discovered the Résonance Vineyard in Oregon’s Yamhill-Carlton AVA. They were immediately struck by the site’s potential, with its marine sedimentary soils and cool-climate conditions ideal for Pinot Noir. Deciding to keep the vineyard’s original name, they established Résonance as Jadot’s Oregon estate, blending Burgundian tradition with Oregon terroir. Today, Résonance produces acclaimed Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, crafted with minimal intervention to highlight purity, elegance, and a sense of place, while symbolizing the “resonance” between Burgundy and Oregon.

Aromatically inviting – a subtlety of red berries and darker plum and blue fruits. The nose carries a freshness and purity with a swirl of fresh herbs and spice. Delicately structured, the palate carries a light citrus freshness with a core of crunchy red berry fruit. Sit with it awhile – this is a wine that truly evolves in the glass.
