About Winery

Château L'Évangile, a historic Pomerol estate, has a rich history dating back to the mid-18th century. It was originally part of the Léglise family's holdings and later named L'Évangile by lawyer Isambert. The Ducasse family owned it for nearly 130 years before it was acquired by Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) in 1990. The Rothschilds invested heavily in the estate, improving vineyards, cellars, and introducing a second wine, Blason de L'Évangile.
