About Winery

Château L'Évangile, located in Pomerol, boasts a rich history dating back to the 18th century when the Léglise family helped establish the Pomerol vineyards. The estate, originally named Fazilleau, was later renamed L'Évangile by a lawyer named Isambert. In 1862, it was acquired by the Ducasse family, who significantly raised its profile. In 1990, Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) purchased the estate, investing heavily in its vineyards and winemaking facilities.
