The 2017 Benjamin Leroux Vosne-Romanée is a medium-bodied, elegant Pinot Noir, characterized by a fragrant bouquet of red cherry, raspberry, violet, and white flower, often with a distinct "Vosne-style" spice. It features silky tannins, fine acidity, and a creamy texture with a savory, lingering finish, often showcasing notes of sandalwood.
About Winery
Benjamin Leroux established his own domaine in 2007 in Beaune, Burgundy, after serving for 15 years as the manager of Domaine des Epeneaux (Comte Armand). Leroux is known for a, precise, low-intervention approach to winemaking and producing a highly-regarded, silky Vosne-Romanée from purchased grapes, featuring notes of red fruit and spice.
