The name "Quintus" is a nod to the Gallo-Roman tradition of naming a fifth child and also references its position as the fifth property in the Clarence Dillon portfolio. The estate is known for its diverse terroir, including both plateau and hillside vineyards, and its winemaking team is led by Jean-Philippe Delmas, who also oversees Haut-Brion.
