Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair, based in Vosne-Romanée in Burgundy’s Côte de Nuits, traces its origins to 1815 when General Louis Liger-Belair, a decorated officer under Napoleon, acquired the Château de Vosne and extensive vineyard holdings, including the famed La Romanée. Domaine Pavelot (Luc et Lise) is a seventh-generation family estate in Pernand-Vergelesses, Burgundy, run by siblings Luc and Lise Pavelot since the early 1990s.
The Pavelot family has been rooted in Pernand-Vergelesses for centuries, with successive generations cultivating vineyards around the village. Luc and Lise took over from their parents, Régis and Annie, continuing the legacy of their grandparents Maurice and Gladie.
