About Winery
Domaine Lécheneaut was established in the late 1950s by Fernand Lécheneaut, who began with 2.5 hectares of vineyards spread across Nuits-Saint-Georges, Chambolle-Musigny, and Morey-Saint-Denis. In 1985, his sons Vincent and Philippe took over after completing oenology studies in Beaune, expanding the domaine to around 12 hectares across 23 appellations, including prestigious parcels in Clos de la Roche Grand Cru, Chambolle-Musigny Premier Cru, and Nuits-Saint-Georges Premier Cru. They modernized the winery with thermoregulation and refined viticultural practices, focusing on quality and terroir expression. Today, Vincent’s son Jules has joined the estate as Philippe approaches retirement, ensuring continuity into the next generation. The domaine produces 50,000–60,000 bottles annually, known for their balance, depth, and authenticity, making Domaine Lécheneaut a respected name in Burgundy’s Côte de Nuits.
