Domaine Cécile Tremblay is a highly regarded Burgundy estate in Vosne-Romanée, founded in 2003 when Cécile Tremblay began reclaiming her family’s vineyard parcels and bottling under her own name. She is the grandniece of the legendary Henri Jayer, and her lineage traces back to 1921 when her great-grandparents Edouard Jayer and Esther Fournier united their families’ vineyards. For decades, the land was farmed under métayage (sharecropping), until Cécile took over and established her own domaine.
