About Winery
The story of Domaine Génot-Boulanger began when Charles-Henri Génot and Marie Boulanger left their pharmacy background in Paris to purchase vineyards in Mercurey in 1974, later expanding into Meursault, Chassagne-Montrachet, Volnay, Pommard, and Beaune. Over the next 25 years, the domaine grew to 22 hectares across 11 prestigious villages, including holdings in Puligny-Montrachet, Corton, Chambolle-Musigny, and Clos de Vougeot. In 1998, François Delaby inherited the estate, and since 2008, it has been run by Guillaume Lavollée and his wife Aude Génot, who modernized operations while preserving the family’s heritage. Today, Domaine Génot-Boulanger is recognized for its parcel-driven approach and sustainable viticulture, producing terroir-focused wines that showcase the breadth of Burgundy’s most celebrated appellations.
