About Winery
Charles Lachaux is a rising star in Burgundy, known for his innovative viticultural practices and stewardship of his family estate, Domaine Arnoux-Lachaux in Vosne-Romanée. Son of Pascal Lachaux, Charles studied oenology in Beaune and gained international winemaking experience in the United States, New Zealand, South Africa, and Bordeaux before returning home to Burgundy. Taking over the domaine, formerly known as Robert Arnoux, he introduced bold vineyard experiments such as high-density planting, regenerative farming, and a strong focus on terroir expression. Alongside running the family estate, he also launched his own micro-négociant label, producing wines from both family-owned vines and trusted growers. Today, Charles is celebrated as one of Burgundy’s most exciting young winemakers, blending tradition with forward-thinking viticulture to craft wines of precision and vitality.
