Winemaker Notes
The 2014 Maison Albert Bichot Criots-Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru is described by the winemaker as an intense and delicate wine with a brilliant pale yellow color that gains golden hues with age. According to Albert Bichot's technical notes, the nose reveals a complex and elegant bouquet of nuts, dried fruit, white flowers, and spices, enhanced by discrete notes of oak and hints of honey and butter. On the palate, it is full-bodied and powerful with great finesse, featuring a "very pure" mineral structure derived from the vineyard's calcareous clay soil. The finish is noted for being remarkably long, pure, and persistent. For the 2014 vintage specifically, critics from Wine Enthusiast also highlight its dense fruit profile and rich structure, suggesting a cellaring potential of 10 years or more.
About Winery

Now in its 6th generation of family management under Albéric Bichot since 1996, the winery has grown into a renowned producer with over 100 hectares of organically cultivated vines across six distinct estates from Chablis to Beaujolais.
