Winemaker Notes
Dom Ruinart Rosé 2009, composed of 85% Grand Cru Chardonnay and 15% Pinot Noir, displays a delicate salmon-pink hue with fine, persistent bubbles. The bouquet is expressive and layered, offering aromas of cherry, strawberry, gooseberry, tangerine, and spring flowers, alongside subtle hints of almond, pastry, and smoky reduction. On the palate, it is full-bodied, fleshy, and vinous, yet perfectly balanced, with flavors of red berries, citrus zest, and brioche supported by a delicate mousse and chalky minerality. The finish is long, saline, and penetrating, showcasing both structure and elegance. While already approachable, the wine retains the depth and concentration to age gracefully for another 5–8 years, making it a standout expression of Ruinart’s prestige rosé style.
