Winemaker Notes (Vivino | 4.3)
Veuve Clicquot Brut Rosé pours with a luminous, coppery-orange hue and delicate, persistent bubbles. On the nose, it is immediately expressive, offering a generous bouquet dominated by fresh red fruits like wild strawberries, raspberries, and cherries, which beautifully evolve into warm, yeasty notes of toasted brioche, almonds, and dried fruits. The palate is robust, structured, and delightfully vinous thanks to the heavy Pinot Noir influence, balancing a fresh, vibrant acidity with a creamy, velvety mousse. It finishes beautifully with a harmonious, long-lasting impression of redcurrants, citrus peel, and a lingering, chalky refinement.
About Winery
Veuve Clicquot, now one of the largest Champagne Houses, was founded in 1772 by Philippe Clicquot under the label "Clicquot". After establishing the brand throughout Europe, Russia and the United States, Philippe was joined by his son, François Clicquot, at the head of the House in 1798. Seven years later, following his untimely death, François’ young widow, Barbe Ponsardin, took over the family business at just 27 years old. The House would subsequently be renamed in her honor: ‘Veuve Clicquot’ means ‘The Widow Clicquot.’

Winemaker Notes
"Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage 2016 is a champagne that unveils a subtle aromatic evolution, beginning with notes of toasted bread, cereals, and hazelnuts, which give way to nuances of gingerbread, marzipan, and barley sugar. In the background, persistent hints of plum, quince, orange blossom, and anise appear, adding complexity and freshness. On the palate, its rounded and elegant texture flows naturally, from a smooth and refined start to a vibrant finish, with citrus flashes that evoke the sweetness of clementine and the freshness of grapefruit. A harmonious and sophisticated journey."
About Winery
Moët & Chandon, based in the so-called "Champagne capital" of Épernay, is easily the most famous house in the Champagne region. It is one of the largest too, comprising 1150 hectares (2850 acres) of estate vineyards plus more from growers, 28km (17 miles) of cellars and a production capacity of 60 million bottles a year.
The house was founded by Claude Moët in 1743. However, his grandson, Jean-Remy Moët, is credited with having brought Champagne to a wider audience and, by the 19th Century, the house was recognized both domestically and internationally.
In the 1970s and '80s, Moët & Chandon expanded its empire beyond Champagne, partnering first with Cognac house Hennessy and then with fashion giant Louis Vuitton, forming the well-known luxury conglomerate Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy –often referred to simply as LVMH.
Today, the group owns several other famous wine brands, including Krug and Veuve Clicquot in Champagne, Château Cheval Blanc in Bordeaux, and Cloudy Bay in New Zealand and Cape Mentelle in Western Australia.
Moët's house style is fresh and fruit-forward, and the non-vintage Brut is dominated by Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, with a smaller amount of Chardonnay. Grapes are drawn from 800 different parcels from 230 of the villages in Champagne.
This wide range of terroirs to draw from means that blenders have more control over the finished wine, and despite the massive output every year, Moët's wines are remarkably consistent. The majority of processes in the winery are controlled by machine – unsurprising given the scale of production.
Moët & Chandon's range is straightforward, comprising of non vintage brut, rosé and demi sec, as well as vintage brut and rosé offerings. Their prestige cuvée is the iconic Dom Pérignon, although over time this has come to be seen as a separate entity, in much the same spirit as Napa Valley icon Opus One.
The house has expanded far outside of Champagne, and is currently making sparkling wines in California, Argentina, Brazil and Australia under the Chandon label. Most recently, Moët & Chandon has acquired vineyards in India and China, where they are also finding new markets.

Winemaker Notes
A crystal-clear appearance with silvery tints complements the delicate bubbles. Initially shy on the nose, the wine reveals a fine minerality (chalk and flint) with notes of white flowers, yellow cherries and dried nuts. On aeration, aromas of citrus, exotic fruits and cocoa butter come together to complete the whole. The bouquet is very fine, direct and pure. On entry to the palate, the wine is crisp and exceptionally fresh. The texture of this Blanc de Blancs 2016 is delicate and almost crunchy. It reveals a pronounced minerality with subtle hints of citrus zest (lemon and orange) and toasted overtones. The saline finish is long and persistent. Sustained by a remarkable freshness that creates a graceful backbone throughout, this finely balanced champagne shows great promise.
About Winery
Champagne Pol Roger was founded in 1849 in Épernay, France, by a 17-year-old Pol Roger, who began by selling wine and soon focused on producing drier, brut styles favored in Britain. The independent, family-run house survived major historical crises and became famously known as the favorite champagne of Winston Churchill.
Winemaker Notes
Pale yellow with silver highlights, the wine produces an alluring effervescence that rises from a cord of fine persistent bubbles. An especially open and expressive nose begins with notes of dried fruit, cocoa, almond and coconut. Allowed to breathe, notes of yellow fruits such as Mirabelle plum and eau de vie add to the nose which, though young, is rich and promising. The palate is exceedingly fresh. Crisp acidity gives it a strong backbone that carries right through to the finish. Those aromas of dried fruits from the first nose persist, with nuances of citrus, lemon and bitter orange completing the palate and reinforcing the youth of the wine. On the finish, subtle notes of confected fruits come through, in particular candied orange peel.

Pale salmon with delicate pink hues. Great intensity of color with a fine and persistent effervescence. The nose is intense and reminiscent of a basket of red fruits where raspberry, redcurrant and blackcurrant mingle, with the added nuances of exotic mango and papaya. With time and air, the floral aromas of rose and honeysuckle then dominate. Mouth-filling on the palate with some sophistication and an impressive length. Despite the obvious ripeness on the palate, the wine has a terrific freshness and very present acidity suggesting a bright future for this cuvée.

Winemaker Notes (D | 97)
The long sunny days and warmth of the 2018 vintage has provided glowing stone and citrus fruit to this glorious Grande Dame. While the initial attack plays on various riffs of lemon oil, verbena, orange rind and grapefruit, it's the deeply mineral and tightly wound core that surprises most with this wine, and this is what will ensure its long-term ageing potential. Delectable candied orange rind builds to a crescendo of yuzu and coconut cream. A luminous and energetic iteration of La Grande Dame. (NE)

Winemaker Notes
The 2021 vintage marks a stellar year for our vineyard, perfectly positioned on a sheltered, south-facing slope that capitalised on the exceptional conditions of the season. Benefiting from a challenging yet fruitful cold and wet winter that delayed bud burst, followed by ideal conditions at flowering and a record-breaking long summer, our vines yielded fruit of outstanding quality.
Our winemaking process, tailored to enhance the unique characteristics of the 2021 harvest, involved hand-harvesting grapes in the cool of the morning, followed by a combination of stainless steel and French oak barrel fermentation. This approach, along with a careful blend including 6% reserve wine and a patient 30-month bottle maturation, has resulted in a wine that embodies the essence of the vintage. It presents a vibrant intensity, balanced acidity, and a symphony of green apple, berry, and subtle brioche notes, culminating in a tangy finish with a fresh floral aftertaste.

What a magnificent bouquet for this Dom Pérignon 2012! Pastry, a hint of smoke and autolytic notes provide a compelling counterpart to eager yet elegant aromas of citrus (lime, tangerine and kumquat) joined by those of fresh fruit, herbs, liquorice, and menthol. There is even a refreshing note of ivy. The palate is tense, vibrant, and very fresh despite its impressive density, which meets its match with an unending finish.
2015 | JS 97
A super-complex Champagne with chewy tension. Aromas of coffee beans, lemon peel, burnt sugar, chalky minerality, barley candy and tarte tatin. Fine pinprick bubbles with flavors of lemon leaves, aspirin and Mirabelle plums, plus a touch of grapefruit bitterness keeping the tension. Zesty yet integrated chewy acidity and a medium body with a toasted finish.

Fresh, lively, and luxurious. It boasts a "second energy" compared to the original 2000 vintage release, showing more depth and complexity.
2002 (PRE-ORDER) | V 97
Described as "Dom Pérignon squared," noting its intense concentration and initial austerity.
2003 (PRE-ORDER) | VIVINO 4.7
2003 was a notoriously hot, dry, and difficult year in Champagne, marked by a severe spring frost and a record-setting August heatwave. This led to early, highly concentrated, and low-acidity grapes, making it a daring, bold vintage.
2004 (PRE-ORDER) | V 97
The 2004 Dom Pérignon P2 is now entering its first plateau of maturity, where the first notes of aromatic development are present. Hints of marzipan, lemon confit dried flowers, mint, spice and baked apple tart lend notable complexity throughout. Soft contours add to its open-knit, creamy personality.
2006 | V 99
Described as a "total stunner" and "dazzling," noting its incredible complexity and explosive finish.

Dom Ruinart Blanc de Blancs opens with an elegant bouquet of hazelnut, nashi pear, orange zest, and delicate floral notes of hyacinth, layered with hints of bread dough, Sichuan pepper, and subtle smokiness. On the palate, it is vibrant and youthful, balancing brisk acidity with a creamy texture, offering flavors of citrus, chalk, dried fruits, and pastry. The wine’s depth is enhanced by its long lees aging, giving complexity and finesse, while the finish lingers with spice, white pepper, and a refined mineral edge that promises excellent aging potential.
