The Domaine was founded in 1920 in Puligny-Montrachet and is now owned by Jean-Luc Pascal. It comprises 14 hectares of vineyards across four communes of Cote de Beaune, Auxey Duresses, Meursault, Volnay and Puligny-Montrachet. This small family domaine on the outskirts of the village of Puligny embodies meticulous traditional winemaking with minimal use of oak.
A refined Meursault 2024 from Domaine Joseph Pascal, sourced from complementary parcels in Vireuils, Clos du Cromin and Corbins. Ripe yellow fruit, citrus and subtle nutty notes lead into a fuller, textured palate, balanced by lively acidity and mineral freshness. Elegant, generous and precise, with a long, fresh finish.
Tasting Notes:
A rich and powerful wine from the village of Meursault. Fleshy stone fruit combines with notes of melted butter and toast imparted from 11 months ageing in French oak barrels, 25% new. Fresh acidity and a flinty mineral character from the limestone soils balances the rich character and creamy texture, finishing long and complex.
Pairing well with:
Serve with rich dishes such as chicken in a cream sauce or lobster.
