Tasting Notes
The Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes from Domaine Henri Magnien et Fils (1.5L magnum) opens with aromas of cherry, raspberry, and strawberry, accented by rose petals and subtle spice. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, with fine-grain tannins and a supple texture, offering a mix of red and black fruits alongside earthy minerality and gentle oak. The wine is cohesive and balanced, with a perfumed strawberry finish and youthful austerity that promises excellent aging potential.
