About Winery
Domaine Prieuré Roch was founded in 1988 by Henri-Frédéric Roch, co-director of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, and quickly became one of Burgundy’s most distinctive estates. Today it spans about 20 hectares across prestigious terroirs in Gevrey-Chambertin, Vosne-Romanée, Vougeot, Nuits-Saint-Georges, Ladoix, and Savigny-les-Beaune, with rare monopole holdings such as Clos des Corvées, Clos des Varoilles, and Clos Goillotte. The domaine is known for its uncompromising philosophy: organic and biodynamic farming, whole-cluster fermentation, traditional manual punch-downs, and minimal sulfur use, all aimed at expressing purity of terroir. Since Roch’s passing, the estate has been led by Yannick Champ and his team, continuing the founder’s vision of artisanal, natural Burgundy wines.
