About Winery
Domaine Jean-Jacques Confuron is a family-run Burgundy estate based in Vosne-Romanée, founded in 1926 when Jean Confuron married Anne-Marie Bouchard of Premeaux, and later expanded under their son Jean-Jacques, who married Andrée Noëllat, linking the domaine to another prestigious Burgundian lineage. Over four generations, the estate has grown to about 8 hectares, producing 15 cuvées—almost entirely red wines—from celebrated appellations such as Romanée-Saint-Vivant and Chambolle-Musigny. Today, it is managed by Sophie Confuron and Alain Meunier, with their son Louis Meunier (married to Justine Clerget of Vougeot) representing the next generation, continuing the domaine’s tradition of crafting elegant, age-worthy wines with a philosophy of refinement and minimal intervention.
