  • 2012 Bibi Graetz Testamatta - 1976 WINEHOURS

Bibi Graetz 2012 Bibi Graetz Testamatta

Winemaker Notes Bibi Graetz Testamatta offers aromas of prune, dried flowers, porcini and cedar lead to a full body, with velvety tannins and lots of ripe fruit and milk chocolate. Long and very soft, yet powerful. About Winery From a medieval castle, Castello di Vincigliata, acquired by his parents over 60 years ago, winemaker Bibi Graetz crafts his wines on a hillside overlooking the great city of Florence. Beginning initially with only a small, 5-acre vineyard on this hillside in Fiesole, in little under two decades, Bibi has become one of Italy's most ingenious winemakers adding "cult winemaker" in addition to "talented abstract artist" to his dossier. Since the release of his first wines in 2000 and without any formal training, Bibi Graetz has managed to stir-up the Tuscan wine scene, and with the creation of Testamatta and Colore, has made his name eponymous with great Tuscan wines. Regularly scoring in the high 90’s with wine publications like Wine Spectator, Wine Advocate, and James Suckling, coupled with his unique and artisanal winemaking approach, Bibi Graetz’s wines have garnered a loyal following among wine collectors and wine trade. Sourcing grapes from parcels of old vines around Tuscany give the Bibi reds great depth and soul; while grapes from vines on the Isola del Giglio have provided proof that Tuscany can be known for beautiful white wines as well. This affinity for old vines allows for the concentrated yet elegant wines of Bibi Graetz making this portfolio a collectible from Tuscan producers. His passion for producing his flagship wines exclusively from traditional varieties of Sangiovese, Colorino, and Canaiolo for the reds and the indigenous varieties of Ansonica and Vermentino for his whites have resulted in very distinctive wines that consistently set his wines apart from those from the rest of Tuscany, and Italy.

  • 2020 Bibi Graetz Testamatta - 1976 WINEHOURS

Bibi Graetz 2020 Bibi Graetz Testamatta

Winemaker Notes Bibi Graetz has long been tinkering with his formula for this wine, and this vintage represents a new chapter. The 2020 Testamatta is a blend of Sangiovese from old and new vines, with a priority on cooler growing conditions (and even a few northern exposures). In the wake of climate change, and in the pursuit of elegance, Bibi is changing his approach. He also has a new vineyard property near Fiesole, and the introduction of these grapes (from a breezy, high-elevation site) are what gives Testamatta its beautiful clarity, sharpness and lifted bouquet. The new Fiesole fruit makes up about 30% to 35% of this wine. The results are vibrant, transparent and fresh both in terms of acidity and aromatic intensity. This is a wine in transformation and a wine to watch. • 2019 Bibi Graetz Testamatta Anniversary - 1976 WINEHOURS

Bibi Graetz 2019 Bibi Graetz Testamatta Anniversary

Winemaker Notes Elegance, this is the word that describes Testamatta 2019. The 20th Anniversary of Testamatta is a real milestone, the peak of quality that I was searching in my Sangiovese since the first vintage in 2000. Testamatta 2019 is perfectly balanced with deep layers which shown an incredible complexity. "Testamatta" – "crazy-head" in Italian - is the best word to describe Bibi Graetz: a positive, creative and passionate person. Testamatta wine expresses the purity, minerality and transparency of Sangiovese from old vines on the top of the hills characterized by soils rich of stones. A Super tuscan made with 100% Sangiovese, result of the combination of tradition and creativity. • 2019 Alpha Omega Right Bank - 1976 WINEHOURS

Alpha Omega 2019 Alpha Omega Right Bank

Winemaker Notes 2019 provided us with an unprecedented growing season. Moderate to cooler temperatures in early spring resulted in a delayed start followed by showers during bloom in May. However, continual moderate temperatures from June through August allowed vines to balance their growth. By early August, as cluster size was fully developed and overall growth more harmonious, it was clear that 2019 would be a memorable vintage. A month later, most red grapes showed complexities and flavors that normally would not appear until later in season. The 2019 wines show early approachability and impeccable balance. About Winery Established in 2006, Alpha Omega’s mission is to create artisanal wines drawing on Old World vineyard handcrafted practices and emphasis on unique terroir driven characteristics that reveal a sense of place combined with New World technology and science. The winery, located on the Rutherford Bench in the heart of Napa Valley, exudes the utmost experience of hospitality in an authentic place reflective of the Napa Valley farming community. Presenting world-class wines in a convivial setting remains just as paramount to vintners Robin and Michelle Baggett today as when they opened the winery’s doors on July 1, 2006. Alpha Omega boasts a picturesque setting, highlighted by views of its landmark water fountains and reflecting pond, stunning vineyards and the statuesque Mayacamas Mountains. The breathtaking scenery makes for the perfect backdrop to enjoy the handcrafted wines made with grapes from prized, historic vineyards by Alpha Omega’s talented winemaking team. A warm staff of well-trained wine educators, the postcard-worthy setting and the modern farm-style architecture of the winery on Napa Valley’s famous Highway 29, paired with beautiful wines was the intentional vision the Baggetts conceived when they toured the valley in 2005 searching for a property to purchase to open their first winery together. To create an estate comparable to the finest in the valley, the Baggetts took on the project in the same fashion that helped them achieve success in other fields — Robin as an attorney, grape grower and vintner in San Luis Obispo and Michelle as an international hotel interior designer later becoming a hospitality marketing and communication professional and branding whiz. Creating the brand name Alpha Omega in 2005 predestined their ambition to craft the ultimate winery experience from beginning to end. Today, Alpha Omega is honored that its estate is considered one of the top wineries in the region. When it came to building its brand, Alpha Omega spared no expense. There were no limits for the starry-eyed vintners who aimed to bring their vision to fruition. Several months into negotiations for the property, Sir Peter Newton of Newton Vineyards suggested to the Baggetts that they talk to his winemaker and assistant winemaker about joining their new winery project. This team together had excelled at making award-winning wines for Newton Vineyards in Napa Valley and left to do the same for Alpha Omega. The Baggetts’ relationships in the valley afforded them the opportunity to procure the best grapes from prized vineyards throughout the top AVAs of Napa Valley — most notably Thomas Vineyard in Rutherford, Beckstoffer To Kalon in Oakville, Beckstoffer Georges III in Rutherford, Beckstoffer Dr. Crane and Beckstoffer Las Piedras in St. Helena, Stagecoach in Atlas Peak, Drew Vineyard in Mount Veeder and Sunshine Valley in the Oak Knoll District.

  • 2018 Alpha Omega Yountville Cabernet Sauvignon - 1976 WINEHOURS

Alpha Omega 2018 Alpha Omega Yountville Cabernet Sauvignon

Winemaker Notes 2018 was a dream growing season and harvest for Napa Valley. An abundance of rain in February was followed by continuous days of sunshine and mild temperatures that made for uniform vines and even cluster growth. With no major heat spikes to contend with, there was no need to rush through harvest. Cooler temperatures allowed us to pick when we wanted, without stress and under optimal conditions. The gift from Mother Nature translated to wines that not only have great concentration but also an amazing freshness. • 2017 Alpha Omega Grenache Syrah - 1976 WINEHOURS

Alpha Omega 2017 Alpha Omega Grenache Syrah

Winemaker Notes 2017 started out with record precipitation providing vines with sufficient water tables to safely get them through several heat spikes that began as early as June. Temperatures up to 110 degrees in early September prompted several winemakers to begin harvesting red varietals. Our winemaking team held steadfast and patiently waited until end of September before bringing in the first red varietals. Rewarded then with more moderate temperatures, the resulting wines express themselves as both full-bodied and greatly structured. The 2017 Alpha Omega Cabernet Sauvignon is a dense and very structured wine that is crafted and blended to be enjoyed for decades. Hyland Estate 2022 Hyland Estates McMinnville Pinot Noir

Winemaker Notes This wine offers an incredibly expressive bouquet, with pronounced aromas of red cherries that burst forth, intertwined with layers of spicy notes and a subtle hint of black tea. There's a fragrant herbal element that adds depth, harmonizing with an abundance of sweet, ripe fruits. On the palate, it reveals a delightful interplay of blackcurrants and a touch of plum, underscored by a peppery spice that lends a delightful kick. The fine-grained tannins provide a structured backbone, while the wine maintains a fresh and lively character throughout the mid-palate. As it lingers, additional layers unfold, revealing hints of wild bramble and a gentle infusion of baking spices, leaving a lasting impression on the senses. About Winery In 1971, four visionary families came together with a dream: to create and plant what would become one of Oregon's most iconic vineyards—Hyland Vineyard. Perched above the Van Duzer Corridor, this historic site is a cornerstone of the Willamette Valley's wine legacy. The vineyard's roots run deep, with its first 45 acres planted between 1971 and 1979. These included Alsatian varieties, including the legendary Coury Clone Pinot Noir, cultivated on original rootstock—a rarity that adds to its distinction. Since 2007, NW Wine Co. has stewarded this remarkable vineyard, expanding it to 185 sustainably farmed acres. Hyland flourishes in red volcanic Jory soil, producing exceptional Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Riesling, and Gewürztraminer that embody the region's unique terroir. In 2021, Hyland Vineyard celebrated 50 years of shaping Oregon’s wine legacy. Today, it invites you to experience its history, exceptional wines, and enduring spirit as a landmark of Willamette Valley’s rich winemaking tradition.

  • 2021 Amuse Bouche Vin Perdu Red Blend - 1976 WINEHOURS

Vin Perdu 2021 Amuse Bouche Vin Perdu Red Blend

Winemaker Notes Heidi's Vin Perdu 2021 blend consists of 42.3% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33.1% Petit Verdot, 16.9% Merlot, 6.2% Malbec, and 1.5% Petite Sira from our select eastern-facing Napa Valley vineyards. This vintage yielded close to 700 cases. "The 2021 Vin Perdu is another terrific wine from Amuse Bouche. About Winery Heidi Barrett grew up in the Napa Valley in a winemaking family and was destined to become one of California's leading winemakers. It is said that winemaking is a combination of science and art. With a scientist-winemaker father and an artist mother it is no big surprise that Heidi was drawn to the wine industry. With great enthusiasm, a love for what she does, and an incredible wealth of experience, Heidi blends the art and science of winemaking like few can. In 2002, Heidi partnered with longtime friend John Schwartz to create Amuse Bouche, a Pomerol-inspired Merlot from Napa Valley. Recognizing that the cult wine phenomenon has created an almost aspirational class structure among collectors, the partners decided to make this limited edition wine available to a much broader consumer base. Winemaker Heidi Barrett explains, "We have created Amuse Bouche, a limited edition, superb Pomerol style wine with the added value of limited edition art that is available to consumers through a variety of channels."

The 2019 Vin Perdu label reflects these past 12 months of our lives and the indisputable conclusion that if you don’t occasionally remove your mask to savor the finer things in life, the wine will be lost forever!

Founded in 1880, it has been continuously managed by the same family for five generations.
