About Winery
The origins of Domaine Perrot-Minot date back to the mid-18th century, when Étienne de Mermety and Louise le Breton des Chapelles began cultivating vines in Morey-Saint-Denis, laying the foundation for a family tradition that would span twelve generations. Over time, the estate evolved through marriages between Burgundian families, eventually becoming known as Merme-Morizot before being inherited by Henri Perrot-Minot and his wife Marie-France. In 1993, their son Christophe Perrot-Minot, representing the 12th generation, took over management after gaining experience as a wine broker. Christophe modernized the domaine, expanded holdings with the acquisition of Domaine Pernin-Rossin in 2000, and refined the winemaking style to emphasize terroir transparency, elegance, and longevity. Today, Domaine Perrot-Minot covers about 12.5 hectares across Gevrey-Chambertin, Chambolle-Musigny, Vosne-Romanée, and Nuits-Saint-Georges, producing highly sought-after Pinot Noirs that embody both centuries of heritage and a contemporary vision.
