About Winery
The story of Domaine Ramonet began in the 1920s when Pierre Ramonet, a legendary figure in Burgundy, established the estate in Chassagne-Montrachet. Pierre’s dedication to terroir and his distinctive winemaking style quickly earned international recognition, particularly for his white wines from prestigious vineyards such as Montrachet, Bâtard-Montrachet, and Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet. After Pierre’s passing in 1994, the domaine was carried forward by his sons Noël and Jean-Claude, with Noël playing a central role in maintaining the estate’s reputation for balance, elegance, and complexity. Today, Noël’s sons Michaël and Pierre-François, together with Jean-Claude’s daughter Anne-France, represent the new generation, ensuring continuity of the Ramonet tradition. With holdings across some of the Côte de Beaune’s most celebrated crus, Domaine Ramonet remains a benchmark for white Burgundy, producing wines that blossom with age and embody the family’s nearly century-long commitment to excellence.
