2018 | WA 94
The single-vineyard 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon The Warrior displays hints of cooling menthol, boisterous cherries, earthy loam and classic cigar-box notes. It's medium to full-bodied, slightly cool, silky and fine, with a long, elegant finish.
2019 | D 97
Warrior is an iron fist of a Cabernet that is profoundly structured with exotic layers of fruit, spices, florals, and a wealth of ironstone minerals. Swelling with a full-bodied richness of creamy textured blackberry and black cherry fruit, plus liquorice with hints of spearmint laced with tobacco. Pixelated tannins build the stature and presence of the wine on the palate, and the finish is long with wet slate. It is a complete and harmonious wine of freshness, power, and grace.
About Winery
Hundred Acre is not simply a winery—it is a legend carved into Napa’s hillsides. Founded by Jayson Woodbridge in 2000, its philosophy is one of uncompromising precision: fruit chosen berry by berry, wines born in underground caves called The Ring, and bottles crowned with a 24-carat gold ring as a symbol of perfection. From Morgan’s Way to Ark and Few and Far Between, each vineyard is treated as sacred ground, yielding Cabernets that have earned more than seventy-eight perfect scores. Inspired by the whimsical Hundred Acre Wood yet executed with obsessive craftsmanship, the estate has become a beacon of rarity and myth, where every release is both a treasure and a testament to the pursuit of the extraordinary.
