About Winery
The Hudelot-Noëllat story began in 1964, when Alain Hudelot married into the Noëllat family of Vosne-Romanée, uniting two Burgundian lineages and their vineyard parcels. Alain built the domaine’s reputation through meticulous vineyard care and traditional winemaking, producing wines of elegance and longevity from appellations like Vosne-Romanée, Chambolle-Musigny, and Nuits-Saint-Georges, alongside Grand Cru holdings in Romanée-Saint-Vivant, Richebourg, and Clos de Vougeot. In 2008, Alain’s grandson Charles Van Canneyt, trained as an oenologist, took over management, ushering in a new generation while preserving the domaine’s classic style. Today, Hudelot-Noëllat is celebrated worldwide as one of Vosne-Romanée’s benchmark producers, combining deep family heritage with refined, terroir-driven winemaking.
