About Winery
Domaine de Courcel is a historic, family-owned estate in Pommard, Burgundy, with roots stretching back over 400 years. Still run by descendants of its founders, the domaine is currently overseen by Gilles de Courcel, with management by Anne Bommelaer and Marie de Courcel, and winemaking led by Yves Confuron since 1996. The estate covers about 10.5 hectares, focusing on Pinot Noir from prestigious Pommard Premier Cru vineyards such as Le Grand Clos des Épenots, Les Rugiens, Les Frémiers, and Les Croix Noires. Known for combining tradition with modern precision, Domaine de Courcel produces powerful yet elegant wines that reflect the minerality and structure of the Côte de Beaune terroir.
