Domaine Pierre Damoy, based in Gevrey-Chambertin in Burgundy’s Côte de Nuits, was established in the early 20th century when Julien Damoy acquired vineyards in the region. Over five generations, the estate has grown into one of Burgundy’s most remarkable domaines, with nearly eight hectares of vines, much of which are classified as Grand Cru. It is the largest owner of Chambertin Clos de Bèze and also holds significant parcels in Chambertin and Chapelle-Chambertin, as well as the monopole Clos Tamisot. Pierre Damoy, who took over in 1992, revitalized the domaine with a long-term vision and meticulous vineyard management, producing wines that combine the power of Gevrey’s terroir with exceptional complexity and finesse, earning acclaim from critics and collectors alike.
