About Winery
Domaine Comte Armand, located in Pommard in Burgundy’s Côte de Beaune, was established in 1826 when the Armand family acquired the prestigious Clos des Epeneaux vineyard. This monopole, covering 5.25 hectares, has remained the heart of the estate and is renowned for producing exceptional Pinot Noir. Over time, the domaine expanded its holdings to include parcels in Volnay and Auxey-Duresses, but Clos des Epeneaux continues to define its reputation. Known for meticulous vineyard management and traditional winemaking, Comte Armand has built a legacy of crafting powerful yet elegant wines that reflect the unique terroir of Burgundy.
