About Winery
Château Grand-Puy Ducasse, a 5ème Cru Classé estate in Pauillac, has a history dating back to the 17th century. Initially established by Arnaud Ducasse, the estate remained in the Ducasse family for nearly three centuries. Significant expansion and development occurred in the 18th century under Pierre Ducasse, including the construction of the current château in 1820. The estate was later classified as a fifth growth in the 1855 classification. Ownership changed hands in the 20th century, with new partners revitalizing the estate and modernizing the winery and vineyards. Today, the estate is owned by CA Grands Crus, a subsidiary of the Crédit Agricole Group, and is known for its focus on quality and sustainability.
