Château Beauséjour (Duffau-Lagarrosse) is a historic Saint-Émilion estate with a lineage tracing back to the 11th and 12th centuries, and specifically, the Duffau-Lagarrosse family's ownership since 1847. Originally part of a larger estate, it was divided in 1869, with the portion that became Château Beauséjour Héritiers Duffau-Lagarrosse going to Pierre-Paulin Ducarpe's daughter and her husband, the Duffau-Lagarrosse family. The estate is renowned for its elegant, age-worthy wines, particularly its legendary 1990 vintage. In 2021, a partnership between Joséphine Duffau-Lagarrosse and Prisca Courtin (Clarins group) marked a new chapter for the estate, blending family legacy with a modern, sustainable approach.
