Winemaker Notes
a complex bouquet of white peach, spring flowers, crisp green apple, and the estate's signature "struck match" reduction. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied and satiny, featuring a "pithy, rock-scree texture" and a long, saline mineral finish.
About Winery
Established in 2001 by Pierre-Yves Colin and his wife Caroline Morey, this esteemed Chassagne-Montrachet domaine in Burgundy produces high-quality, 92% Chardonnay-focused wines. Departing from his family’s Domaine Marc Colin in 2005, PYCM gained fame for minimal-intervention techniques, including forgoing bâtonnage, using larger 350L barrels, and bottling without filtration.
