The 2018 Domaine Jean-Marc Millot Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru "Grand Maupertui" is an exceptionally concentrated and structured wine that represents the archetype of a great aging Burgundy. Produced from a tiny 0.4-hectare parcel of 60-year-old vines bordering Grands Echézeaux, it is noted by the domaine for its minerality, great freshness, and dark red color.
About Winery
Established in the early 1990s in Nuits-Saint-Georges, Burgundy, Domaine Jean-Marc Millot is a prestigious estate known for high-quality Pinot Noir from prime Côte de Nuits vineyards, including Echézeaux and Vosne-Romanée "Les Suchots". Founded officially in 1992 by Jean-Marc Millot from family holdings, the 8-hectare estate has been run by his daughter, Alix Millot, since 2016, focusing on organic, low-intervention, and elegant winemaking.
