Winemaker Notes
The 2018 vintage is a fresh and tangy white wine that emphasizes aromas of lemongrass and grapefruit. Winemaking involves 100% destemming followed by a cool pre-fermentation maceration and maturation in carefully selected barrels—often from François Frères—to maintain energy and freshness.
About Winery
Established in 1985 in Flagey-Echezeaux, Domaine Emmanuel Rouget is a prestigious Burgundy winery born from the mentorship of legendary winemaker Henri Jayer. Rouget began working with Jayer in 1976, gradually taking over his vineyards—including the iconic Cros Parantoux—by 2001. The domaine is renowned for producing highly sought-after, elegant Pinot Noir using Jayer's techniques of low yields, cold maceration, and new oak aging.
