Winemaker Notes
The 2017 Maison Jean-Claude Boisset Corton-Les Renardes Grand Cru is a refined and mineral-driven expression of Pinot Noir, showcasing a "fine and fresh" character that contrasts with the brawny reputation typical of this appellation. Crafted by winemaker Grégory Patriat with 50% whole-cluster fermentation and 10 months of aging in lightly toasted French oak, the wine displays a bright garnet hue and complex aromas of red berries, whole grapes, fresh tobacco, and peppery spices.
