About Winery
The Ravaut family began producing wine in Ladoix-Serrigny in 1920, establishing Domaine Gaston & Pierre Ravaut as a cornerstone of the appellation at the northern edge of the Côte de Beaune. Over six generations, the estate has remained entirely family-run, with successive heirs expanding and refining its holdings. Today, Gaston works alongside his children, including Jules, who represents the latest generation, managing 12.5 hectares of vineyards in Ladoix, Aloxe-Corton, and Corton. The domaine is best known for its red wines, which make up about 80% of production, crafted from Pinot Noir with a focus on finesse, balance, and traditional Burgundian methods such as destemming and oak barrel aging. With its deep roots and continuity of family stewardship, Domaine Ravaut Gaston & Pierre has become a respected name in Burgundy, producing wines that capture the elegance of the Corton hillside terroir.
