Winemaker Notes

The 2013 Domaine William Fèvre Chablis Grand Cru Bougros "Côte de Bouguerots" is a powerful and deeply structured wine that reflects the unique intensity of its steep, south-facing site near the Serein river. According to the producer, the wine offers a complex and mineral bouquet with a dense structure and a pleasant roundness derived from its clay and gravel soils

About Winery

Founded in 1957 by William Fèvre, a prominent figure in the region, the domaine began with 7 hectares and grew into one of Chablis's largest and most prestigious, now boasting ~78 hectares. Known for advocating for authentic, traditional Chablis, the estate was sold to Champagne Henriot in 1998, with the aim of reducing new oak to emphasize mineral, terroir-driven styles. The estate is highly regarded for its Premier Cru Beauroy, which features old vines, and has been under the leadership of Didier Séguier since 1998.
