About Winery
The Tardy family established their domaine in 1945 when Victor Tardy, after working for Domaine Camuzet, was offered vineyards under a métayage agreement that included plots in Clos de Vougeot, Vosne-Romanée Premier Cru Les Chaumes, and Nuits-Saint-Georges Premier Cru Aux Boudots. His son Jean succeeded him in 1966, expanding the estate and strengthening ties with the Camuzet family, while in 1997 Jean’s son Guillaume returned after international winemaking experience and took full charge in 2003. Today, Domaine Jean Tardy et Fils farms just over 5–6 hectares, focusing on sustainable viticulture without chemicals, and produces expressive Côte de Nuits reds—including a prized parcel of 80-year-old vines in Échezeaux—renowned for their finesse, purity, and growing recognition in fine dining circles across Europe.
