The history of Domaine François Parent is intertwined with that of Domaine A.F. Gros, established in 1988 when Anne-Françoise Gros inherited her father’s estate and partnered with her husband, François Parent of Pommard. François brought his own family vineyards and became the winemaker for both estates, building a reputation for producing internationally recognized Pinot Noir wines. The domaine’s fruit sources come from the Gros family’s holdings in Vosne-Romanée—known for elegance and nobility—and François’s parcels in Pommard, which yield wines with earthiness and dark fruit depth. Today, their children Caroline and Mathias Parent are actively involved in running the estate, ensuring continuity of tradition while adding modern energy. The domaine is celebrated worldwide for its refined, terroir-driven Burgundy wines that balance power, grace, and longevity.
