The 1999 Bouchard Père & Fils/Chateau du Vosne Romanee La Romanee is a deep, ruby-colored Grand Cru with massive structure, intense, ripe aromas of blackberries, oriental spices, and tea, often showing surprising, early-drinking richness compared to its typical austerity. It is lauded for its tremendous concentration, fine tannins, and a long,, sensual finish.
