Domaine Besson is a family-run estate in Givry, Burgundy, with roots dating back to the 1930s, when Jules Besson began cultivating vines in the Côte Chalonnaise. Over the decades, the domaine expanded under successive generations, with Jean Besson modernizing operations in the mid-20th century and later passing the reins to his children. Today, siblings Julien and Nathalie Besson manage the estate, which covers around 30 hectares of vineyards, making it one of the largest family domaines in Givry. Known for its commitment to sustainable viticulture and careful cellar work, Domaine Besson produces expressive Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines that highlight the character of Givry’s terroir, earning recognition as a benchmark producer in the appellation.
