Chateau Cote de Baleau Chateau Cote de Baleau
PRE-ORDER 2013 | VIVINO 4.0 The 2013 Château Côte de Baleau is a Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé that defied a difficult, wet vintage through strict selection. It features a blend dominated by Merlot (approx. 88-95%) and Cabernet Franc, resulting in a fresh, bright wine with red cherry, plum, and earthy notes, featuring a soft, velvety texture. 2018 | JS 93 A deep color with blackcurrant, blackberry and raspberry tones. Spicy, slightly toasted notes. After a round, tender entry on the palate, great freshness comes through with silky, flavorsome tannins, giving superb length of flavor and a lingering finish. 2021 | WE 93 Owned by the Cuvelier family, owners of Premier Grand Cru Classé Clos Fourtet, this estate of 44 acres has produced an elegant wine. A fine line of fresh acidity cuts through perfumed black fruits and still-firm tannins. The wine should be ready in 2027.
