Over the decades, the estate was shaped by strong figures such as Marguerite Monot, who managed the domaine single-handedly from 1950 to 1980, and her daughter Marie-Thérèse, who, with her husband Jean-Pierre Gachot, undertook extensive replanting and modernization. Their efforts laid the foundation for the estate’s current identity. In 1993, Damien Gachot joined after completing formal wine studies and gaining international experience, later expanding the domaine to about 12 hectares.
